T. S. Eliot in the Diary of George Seferis:
The Greek poet George Seferis.Seferis first discovered Eliot's poetry in 1930; it was to have a far-reaching influence
on his own work. He collected his notes on his meetings and conversations with Eliot into a short account with the title "T.S.E.— Pages from a Diary". My translation from Seferis' original Greek was published, together with an Introduction
by Seferis' biographer R. M. Beaton, in Critical Survey 5, 4 (Summer 1972): 305-16.
Seferis' Greek translation of Eliot's The Waste Land:
My essay, "Η Έρημη Χώρα: Seferis' Translation of The Waste Land", was published in Comparative Literature Studies 9, 4 (1972): 443-54. It was later translated into Greek by Vasilis Stavropoulos and re-published as «The Waste Land και Η Έρημη Χώρα», Themata Logotechnias 22
